Carolyn Joyce Miller Morrison, age 92, passed away at her daughter’s residence in Alabaster, Alabama on June 10, 2022. She peacefully gained her wings as she slept. Carolyn is predeceased by her husband Bobby Morrison, son Kenny Morrison, her parents Clara and Charles Hill, brother Douglas Hill and sister Glenda Fowler. Carolyn is survived by her sister Eleanor Warren, her children Risa Diane Neely, Elizabeth (Timothy Chip) Summers, Charlotte Miller, Linda (Roy) Whatley, and William (Brenda) Miller. She is lovingly remembered by Dewitt Miller Sr, her previous husband and father of her surviving children and her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren, plus a host of nieces and nephews. Carolyn was born in Cullman, Alabama on August 19, 1929. She enjoyed sewing for her daughters, which was probably more of a necessity with four girls. Keeping them in clothes kept her pretty busy. She also loved working her crossword puzzles and doing word search. But she was comforted most by reading her Bible daily and telling Bible stories to her children and grandchildren and always had a smile for everyone. Carolyn has requested cremation services and a memorial service will be set later. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Association.
