Kelley Mitchell Cobb

Kelley Mitchell Cobb, 62, of Gardendale, AL passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2022, after a
courageous 5 year battle with breast cancer. Kelley was born on October 31, 1959, in Birmingham, AL
and grew up in the Center Point area. She Graduated from Erwin High School, following high school she
briefly attended Jacksonville State University. She is preceded in death by her husband of 19 years,
Lonnie Cobb; her mother, Linda “Kay” Pee, her stepfather who raised her as his own, James “Jim” Pee
and her sweet Nanny whom she loved dearly, Orris Jones. She is survived by her son, Lee Cobb;
daughter, Kourtney Cobb Hill (Jason); two granddaughters whom she loved dearly, Tensley and Finley
Hill; a brother Nathan Pee (Carol); and special lifelong friend who was more of a sister, Angela Taylor
Manasco.
A small celebration of life will be held at a later date for family and close friends. The family
wishes to thank the nurses of Hope Hospice as well as the amazing doctors, caring nurses and kind staff
of the UAB Palliative and Comfort Care Unit, the care received was with the utmost compassion and
respect, there are truly no words to express how thankful we are for the care that was given to our
mother and friend.
