Marie Elaine Parks

Marie Elaine Parks was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She left us suddenly on Saturday, June 25th, 2022.  She was born November 12th, 1948 to Rudolph Blaine Walker and Ella Louise Walker in Chicago, IL.
She married Dalton Parks Jr. and they later moved to Alabama to raise their children and many grandchildren to come.
She will be remembered as surrounded by children and family, as an avid reader and movie buff and as the fierce fighter she was until the very end. She is survived by her daughter Melissa Parks, and her two sons Paul Parks and Terry Grace.
She is also survived by her grandchildren: Brooke Holmes, Shelby Kennedy, Damien Buse, Justin Weldon, Terry Lee Grace and David Blaine Grace. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren: Caley Holmes, Randall Kennedy, Colter Weldon, Mykenlee Weldon, and Aiden Johnson. She is preceded in death by her husband Dalton Parks Jr., her son David Parks, her granddaughter Amber Parks, and her siblings: Brian Walker, Jean Walker and Linda Walker.
