Syble Reagan Paul

Syble Reagan Paul, age 95, of Northport, Alabama, passed away August 30, 2023, at Hospice of West Alabama. She was preceded in death by her husband Wiley Lovell Paul. She is survived by her four children, Beverly Bledsoe (Chris), Lee (Susie), Kelly Sullivan (Gary) and George (Kelly); three grandchildren, Melissa Minihan (Mike), Michelle Townsend (Michael), and Jenna Hilderbrand (Justin); eight great-Grandchildren, Jax, Declan, Miles, Connor, Isabella, Sophia, Jace, and Colton.

Syble was born January 6, 1928 in Bogalusa, Louisiana, to the late Mike and Essie Reagan. Syble touched the lives of many in Diamondhead, MS, and Northport, AL. She never met a stranger and was loved by many. She was a woman of great faith and was looking forward to reuniting with Wiley in heaven. An avid sports fan, she loved her LSU Tigers and New Orleans Saints, her neighbors in Harper Creek, looking at the moon, and watching her beloved cardinals at the bird feeder. The family appreciates the loving home caregivers and the staff at Northport DCH and Hospice of West Alabama, all of whom are angels for the care each gave to Syble. Thank you to many friends and family that reached out to Syble in recent days. Respecting Syble’s wishes, no funeral services will be held. Her children will hold a private celebration at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of West Alabama.
